These pictures of the Grand Canyon are some of my favorites. They are a succession. This first one is off this very large cliff feature.
This next one is closer in, and you can begin to see the trail that leads down into the bottom of the Canyon. Can you imagine walking down the top of that cliff? Talk about a severe case of vertigo!
If you can enlarge this picture, I think you can see people on it. It is so cool, and so something I would not ever do! What goes down, has to come up...I don't think so!!!
I loved the beauty and the opposing ideas in this picture. Rock is so strong and can cause such damage, or give such support. Yet it is in such a precarious and fragile position. It rather spoke to me about the dual natures we all have. The mortal and divine.
Again, more gorgeous rocks! Very majestic! I really did want to spend more time here. I knew that I couldn't, as I had to get on the road if I was going to make it to my next stop in any decent time.
